Summers in Charlotte are hot and humid, with average temperatures in the 80s. Winters are fairly mild. January is the coldest month with an average temperature of 39.3 degrees.

Spring in Charlotte is a sight to behold. Everything is in full bloom—Bradford pears and dogwoods line roadways and lilac-colored wisteria hangs from trees.

Daytime temperatures generally stay on the warm side in early fall while evenings slowly cool down. Average annual precipitation is 43 inches.
